  • PUMPING RESTRICTIONS FOR SUCTION LIFT:

    The centrifugal pump is installed above the level of the suction tank. A partial vacuum must be created in order to prime the pump.

  • OPTIMEX SOLUTIONS:

    OPTIMEX proposes two solutions:

    • Side channel pumps
    • Self-priming pumps (pump with priming pot on casing)

    These industrial pumps allow to create a partial vacuum at the pump suction which removes the air from the suction line.

    For both type of industrial centrifugal pumps, it’s necessary to fill the pump before the first start.
