Many industrial processes require crystallizing and polymerizing liquids to create chemical products.
- PUMPING RESTRICTIONS FOR CRYSTALLIZING AND POLYMERIZING LIQUIDS:
These kind of products are very sensitive to temperature variations and can crystallize or polymerize so it is necessary to control the temperature of the pumped liquid.
The pumping must be done in the liquid phase to avoid any damages on the pump. Therefore it is important to avoid the product to crystallize or to polymerize.

To maintain physical properties of the liquids, OPTIMEX can propose centrifugal pumps with heating or cooling jacket on the motor, the hydraulic casing and the rear support bearing. It allows to keep the pumped liquid in a temperature range avoiding a crystalizing or polymerizing phenomenon. Following the liquid properties, the double jacket requires hot steam, or hot or cooling water.
Alternatively it is also possible to install a heating system by low current in the motor. When the pump is stopped, low current in the windings will heat up the liquid inside the motor.
