Pumps for hot liquids:
Many industries use high temperature liquids for their processes.
These liquids can be grouped in two categories:
- Hot liquids between 100°C and 160°C
- Very hot liquids between 160°C and 500°C
- PUMPING RESTRICTIONS FOR DANGEROUS LIQUIDS:
Pumping high temperature liquids can be dangerous for the environment close to the pump in case of leakage (burn, fire…).
Designing this type of pumps implies to select the adapted circulation and material of construction.
- OPTIMEX SOLUTIONS:
In response to these restrictions, OPTIMEX builds motors with specific weldings and insulations. These motors are able to resist to very high temperatures (up to 360°C), without any external cooling system.
In order to have an even more efficient motor, it is possible to add a cooling system to the motor.
Examples of high temperature liquids:
- Thermic oil like therminol
- Liquid metals (lead, sodium…)
- Molted salt
