High-Pressure Pump Solution For Demineralised Water Applications
15 May 2025 Installation Phase of OPTIMEX Pumps
at Hinkley Point C Nuclear Site
OPTIMEX, Partner in a Strategic Project for UK Nuclear Power
The Hinkley Point C (HPC) EPR nuclear power plant, currently under construction in the United Kingdom (UK), marks a major step forward in low-carbon energy production on a European scale.
In this context, OPTIMEX is putting its expertise at the service of civil nuclear power by supplying sealless pumps specially designed to meet the safety, performance and traceability requirements of this critical sector.
Fully manufactured in our French workshops, these pumps are developed according to strict quality and conformity standards.
First Step of the Installation Phase for OPTIMEX Pumps at Hinkley Point C
The installation phase of the equipment supplied by OPTIMEX to HPC has with the placement of a first multi-stage canned rotor pump.
Manufactured from stainless steel, this pump is integrated into an effluent and purge treatment system.
Custom-designed, it is capable of withstanding extreme constraints: thermal, mechanical, and radiological.
