The Canned Motor Pump is composed of a traditional centrifugal hydraulic, connected to a special motor through a one piece assembly. The stator is canned in the air gap, confining the liquid in the rotor chamber. The pump liquid circulates through the rotor chamber, cooling the motor, and lubricating the slide bearings that support the rotor. The casing of the chamber forms a sealless enclosure that confines the liquid without any dynamic sealing.
Horizontal pump
MANUFACTURER OF HORIZONTAL ROTOR CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS
OPTIMEX is exclusively dedicated to conception, manufacturing, tests and after sales service of Canned Motor Pumps. Created in 1998, our company has been growing ever since, and has become a major actor in this field on the international market.
Used for dangerous, toxic and explosive liquids as well as for major and valuable processes, canned motor pumps are chosen for their robustness and reliability. They confer the highest safety level on the market thanks to its double hermetically sealed containment.
Standard horizontal centrifugal pump with a single casing coupled with a canned motor. There is not anydynamic seal on shaft.

ADVANTAGES OF THE HORIZONTAL PUMP
- Simple machine design with only 2 slidesbearings in the liquid
- Compact dimensions given by a monoblocassembly
- Unecessary lineage at the installation
- Good control of the liquid heating
- No oil lubrication
- High reliability: important MTBF
Vertical pump
MANUFACTURER OF VERTICAL ROTOR CENTRIFUGAL PUMP
Optimex solutions are based on the canned motor technology which presents a monobloc construction. Consequently the shaft line between the motor and the pump is no longer necessary and results a completely sealed pumping unit.
Optimex offers a wide range of vertical pump configurations for a variety of applications.
The major advantage of a vertical pump in submerged configuration is the elimination of the long shaft found on pumps with mechanical seals and magnetic drives. This makes it possible to install machines at depths of up to 30m.
Ideal for liquefied gas processes with NPSH and boiling phase problems, submerging the pump unit avoids any vaporization problems within the equipment.
For applications with low-viscosity liquids, vertical orientation reduces stress on plain bearings and optimizes lubrication.
Optimex has a wide range of single and multi-stage hydraulics pumps for use in vertical configuration.
Optimex is able to supply load tanks for new installations, as well as to install a pump in an existing barrel or load tank
This design reduces the installation and maintenance costs.

Self-priming
MANUFACTURER OF SELF-PRIMING PUMP
OPTIMEX is exclusively dedicated to conception, manufacturing, tests and after sales service of Canned Motor Pumps. Created in 1998, our company has been growing ever since, and has become a major actor in this field on the international market.
Optimex offers a self-priming pump option on our canned motor pump models. The purpose of this option is to avoid running the pump empty and damaging the pump.
High pressure
MANUFACTURER OF HIGH PRESSURE PUMP
OPTIMEX is exclusively dedicated to conception, manufacturing, tests and after sales service of Canned Motor Pumps. Created in 1998, our company has been growing ever since, and has become a major actor in this field on the international market.
Optimex offers a high pressure pump procedure on our canned motor pump models. The purpose of this procedure is to protect the integrity of the pump and its proper operation. We test the pump according to PED procedures to make sure it works before it is put into service in your process.
Thanks to its monoblock design without dynamic sealing, a canned motor pump can admit very high static suction pressures while maintaining outstanding operating reliability.
Thanks to its monoblock design without dynamic sealing, a canned motor pump can admit very high static suction pressures while maintaining outstanding operating reliability.
When design pressure exceeds 50 barg, it becomes the decisive parameter for pump construction. Our range of high-pressure pumps covers applications up to 400 bar.
The parts containing the pressure are pre-calculated according to the appropriate code during the design phase.
Depending on the type of pump selected and the process parameters, Optimex offers designs and files in compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU.

Custom solution
SPECIALIST IN SEALED PUMPING SOLUTIONS
OPTIMEX is specialized in leak-proof pumping solutions to guarantee the security of the process. Naturally OPTIMEX has developed its know-how in the canned motor pump technology. Thanks to their double containment, this technology provides an absolute tightness with no leakage to the outside. The monobloc construction of these machines and the absence of any dynamic sealing ensure the highest level of security against the risk of leakage.
