Canned motor pump for high gas content liquids:
During the transfer from the tank to the suction flange, the pumped liquid can vaporise due to pressure losses in the suction pipe or external heating on the pipe.
- PUMPING RESTRICTIONS:
Pumping gas causes irreversible damage of the machine :
- It can break the lubricating film on the hydrodynamic bearings and lead to dry running which destroys the bearings
- Presence of gas generates cavitation which rapidly degrades the mechanical parts of the pump
- OPTIMEX SOLUTIONS:
Depending on the gas concentration, OPTIMEX will select a suitable circulation to protect the pump. It may be necessary to install an adapted equipment for the operating conditions, such as special bearings or an impeller.
